How Big Are Glis Glis

Up until the 1960’s the average length of the glis glis was between 12 and 20cm long plus a 10 to 15cm bushy tail.

Since the Farnham Common incident in 1964 they have gradually been getting bigger and bigger and on 16th August 2015 a glis glis was trapped measuring 67cm long and weighing 12.3 ounces.

With glis glis getting bigger and bigger glis glis traps are also getting bigger and bigger and it is not unknown for the occasional fox to be found in a glis glis trap.
